Spring brings ---------------Mushrooms!

I can not believe what Kevin brought home today. It is a bag of GOLD, or so my Dad would think so. Once he sees these pictures, I am sure that I will get a phone call. Possibly wanting to come over and share with me, or me share with him.....whatever.

I love these little melt in your mouth morsels, but feel guilty if I eat them with out sharing with my Mom and Dad. Kevin will eat them, but always lets me have the majority of them, knowing how much I love them. (I want to put you in my belly)

I did find 3 on my own, but they weren't this big. I think these were big ones. Check them out, and let me know what ya think........

And of course, we can't tell you where we have found them, or we would have to kill you!
Ha, ha, ha, ha! I got mushrooms.......

Happy Birthday Grandma Wolff

These are some of the 200 tulip bulbs I bought last year in Holland, Michigan. I love them and wanted to share with you! Everytime I look at a Tulip, it makes me think of my Grandmas. Grandma Wolff, always had a flower bed that she worked in daily. My Grandma Haspel had tulips that I couldn't wait to see bloom, so I peeled them like a banana, but they were never ready. I have over come this and now wait for them to open on their own....... Things we learn as we grow up, it's always amazing to me.

Today is my Grandma Wolff's 94th Birthday. I am sure she would love to know that I am blogging about her, and posting her age. Hey I hope to be that old someday. I think it would be great.

Some of the things My Grandma and I have in common ~

1. The way that we walk
2. Our love of TULIPS
3. Our underarm flubber, I think it is hereditory, I am sure I got mine from her.
4. Apple Dumplings (my dad said my were the best, but don't tell his Mom)

What is really sad is that I have been looking for a photo to post and I do not have one. Once I get one I will edit this.

Have a great Birthday Grandma,

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today is my Mom's birthday. She came to my house, and I gave her the rest of her gifts. The first one was a mouse trap for her wireless mouse. It's a mouse pad that you zip all the way around and you can put your wireless mouse inside. I bought the new Stuart Woods book from Amazon.com and had the mailed to her.

When I saw this I thought it would be a great reminder for her since she was growing ducks in her kitchen.
And this is a book that I thought she could get good use out of. Not that I'm saying nothing about her being old, or that she's dumb, I thought that she could get info out of this.

We did a little running. We went and had lunch at the Chinese Buffet and Kevin came and Lori also came down. I think that it was nice. We went to Lowes and looked at plants and then to Wal-Mart. You have to always go to the big W.

I think my mom had a good day, even thou I had to hear that I hadn't blogged about her birthday. So I am hurrying and trying to get this done before the day is over.

Happy Birthday Mom,
We love you!

South Central Prom 2009

2 of the White Girls went to prom tonight. It could have been all 3, but that is a whole different story. The girls were pretty and their dates looked just as nice. I wanted to post these so that you could see how nice they looked.

The photo below shows that is was all about the shoes. Poor Leah's feet had to be killing her. I could never have worn these. She was a trooper and wore them for a while.

Check out these shoes. Yes, they are CHROME stiletto's. Oh and they are about 5 inches high. Maybe I should get a pair. I don't think they come in "WHALE" size.
Ryan, Leah, Aunt Suzanne, Lauren and Zach before their big night. The girls are pretty and the boys are "HOT"! I am the oldest and the shortest.

Sisters ~ Each one as pretty as the next! These girls are so dang tall. It's just not fair.

Leah and her boyfriend Ryan Rice. How sweet! She has to get some rest off of her feet!

Lauren and her date Zach Sowder. What a cute couple. I hope they have a great evening!

Kisses for the girl who didn't get to go to prom. You are still pretty prom or no prom!

The White Girls with their "Real" dates. The girls are so grown up, it's crazy.

Happy Birthday Kevin

Today is my husbands birthday. We both worked today, and then we went to Stew's tree farm and dug trees. We needed some to replace ones that had died. We took Jethro along with us and he helped Kevin. I was the foreman of the job and then had to do a little fertilizer spreading. I had to go potty really bad, so I found a lovely spot to go. I hope no one decides to take a hike or something, because they could be hurt seriously if they were to slip in that **it! Hey when nature calls, whatca gonna do?

I bought Kevin a Fossil watch that he liked and then tried to give him a dog that I rescued this week at work. But that was a no go.

We had people tie up their dog along Highway 6 and just leave it there. I felt bad and brought it home. The dog was friendly, but hated LadyBug and Kricket. That was not going to happen. We were just trying to give it a good home, but I couldn't have her being mean. Kevin called his son and he took her to the Animal Shelter. The employees there said that people are always looking for smaller dogs. They said they would not have a problem placing her. That made us happy.

Tomorrow we are going out for Kevin's birthday. He like Texas Roadhouse, so that is were we will be going.

Have a great weekend and I will post again soon!

All in the Family - Tennessee 2009

We had a family photo taken. If you look closely you will see one of my Mom's penguins that went with us. My friend Kelly had the idea to take him along with us. We took photos of him, with out my Mom knowing. She was pissed when she got back home and realized that one of them was gone. Kelly put together a photo album showing the trip taken. Mom was the only one out of 16 people that didn't know he was there.

Dressing My Daughters ALIKE ?

Kricket and LadyBug got new jackets. I hoped to use these for next winter, but I think WINTER is still here. I hate this cold crappy weather. Will it ever end? I thought that you would enjoy seeing their matching coats.
Don't they look CUTE? :)

Happy Anniversary To Us

Three years ago today, I married my best friend. Well actually it is my best friend of the opposite sex. Cause otherwise it would have been Kelly and I don't think thats legal in Indiana.

Today was a normal day for us. Kevin was the first to wish me a Happy Anniversary, he told at approx 5:30 am when I was still asleep. I told him at 7:45 am, when he was awake. I guess it's a competion as to who will tell who first. We both went to work and then went out for dinner. We are now at home and will watch each other fall asleep. We are really boring and the older we get the more boring we become.

I am just happy that I finally have someone to watch fall asleep, it has to be love!

April Fool's Joke? NOT!

I had a lovely evening with my husband, my nieces Leah, Rani and Lauren, and Leah's boyfriend Ryan. We watched American Idol and everyone tanned. When the younger ones left, I decided it was my turn to tan. I went to the basement, took off my glasses and put lotion on my arms, chest, and face. When I went over to the bed, I could see something that looked different. Maybe like a dog leash or one of the kids belts. It looked like it was moving. I put on my glasses and then screamed. It was a freakin snake.
Kevin was being my hero, and he trapped it, and brought it out of the basement.
This is what it looked like when we first put it in the box. I was afraid that it was going to get out. YIKS ~
We opened it up on the back porch so that I could get another picture. Then we got in the car and drove down the road to release it. We didn't want it to hang out at our house.
We think that it came from some bulbs that my brother in law gave us last fall. We think that it has been asleep, if they do that, and then since it has been getting warm, because of tanning. He decided that we was going to come out and TAN?
Needless to say, I didn't feel like tanning after all of this excitement. Kevin went down and carried all the bulbs out of the basement. HE knew that I would be afraid to go back down there.
We used to have bats, now snakes. What next?
