Happy Birthday to ME! Today I turned 47, wow that sounds OLD :(

This is what I wanted. So I bought it on EBAY and told Kevin that it could be my birthday present. I decided to start collecting head vases, after remembering my Grandma Wolff had one. The times that we did go and visit I always remember it. So I started my collection. The first time I saw Jackie Kennedy, we were in Arizona and she was 1500.00. That was way too much, but I always had her in my mind. When we were on our honeymoon in Tennessee, we found her and she was 700.00, still too much. Well I happen to be looking on ebay, and with the economy the way that it is, and everyone is having to sell some of their collections, I found her and she was a steal. I then found the "children" to go along with. They too were a steal. I decided this would be a great investment, and it could be my birthday present.

Today at work, we had a carry in. Lots of desserts and lent type foods. Everything tasted so good! Earlier in the year I told my girls not to get me anything, but if they were, what I wanted was for them to make a donation to the food drive that we are having at work. Today, my gift was 3 boxes of food which ended up being 92 items. It made me cry. I was really happy that they took my suggestion. Our work has a food drive at Christmas, but I decided why not keep it going and collect all year. It really isn't ever the customers that bring in the food, it is my staff and I that bring in all the food. I can't help it, every time I go to the grocery store, I buy food. The way I look at it, if I ever needed to go there, I would be appreciative of any help I could get.

2009 Valentines Day Gift ~ He went to Jimmy's!

Our Family has a thing for Jimmy's. We think it beats Jared's anytime over. It is owned by a personal friend of the family and it is located in Chicago. You never know what your going to find when you get there but it is well worth the trip!

This caught my eye because it is on the line of all the other antique jewelry that I have. It is a nice sized pearl, with a pinkish/green cast, set in white gold that has been milled, with diamonds and sapphires. I love it.

I had to post because that other picture even scared me!

I hope that Zane, Lauren and Spadey are all ok!

This is what the CLEANEST person with the FLU looks like ....

I had to post this, since there was a not so flattering photo of Kevin on here, so I am sorry that you have to witness this but here we go!

I have had the flu since Wednesday night, which means no work. I honestly would rather be at work that have the stinken flu. I have had a temp as high as 102.2 (which normal for me is about 96 - 97 degrees), I have thrown up, had a bloody nose, taken many baths and showers, due to chills and then burning up because of the fever, I have no appetite, but I have finally been able to eat a couple of bananas. I am drinking 7up and gatorade. I have had all the aches and pains that go along with this thing we call the FLU! I just recently sharted my self, which then calls for another bath.

Support from Kricket, I am so restless and can't get comfort sleeping anywhere, I thought I would get the AREOBED out that she chewed up. I really didn't think that I needed a companion, but she decided differently.

Oh Gosh, she's almost asleep, poor baby, maybe she's got the flu!

Out like a light, this won't last for long, I am moving her big butt over and she can keep me warm when the chills come back.

Can't you tell LadyBug feels bad for the Mama. She is always close by, lending her support!

Oh by the way, I had started a diet on Monday of this past week, and as of today, I have lost 16.2 pounds. What a way to lose weight!

Well, what can I say. This really wasn't a big hit at our house. Kevin was all ready to watch the BIG event, and moments later this is the photo I captured! So much for CHUCK in 3D ~ Isn't he soooooooo cute? I think so. Love ya Honey!

Baby's 2009!

We have 3 family members pregnant this year. On Jan 29th the first baby was born. His name is Nathan Wayne. He belongs to our niece Jennifer and husband Kevin. Nathan is their first child

Can't tell this is her first Grandchild! Look at her beam.............

And we can't forget the Proudest Uncle on Earth. This is Jarrod, Jennifers brother, he is Kevin's nephew. I call him Jethro, so now he will be "Uncle Jethro".

Nathan wide awake, not even 24 hours old yet! What a little cutie.

P.S. I have 2 cousins that are having baby's this year, Jennifer is due in March and Chelsea is due in April. They are both having GIRLS!

WOW has it been COLD!

This is just a normal day at the OFFICE! Ok maybe really when it is cold outside. It's important for me to keep my brain warm so that I can function thru out the day! I really can't remember it ever being this cold. I am just thankful that I was able to get to work on time, every day but one! Our truck on the coldest day, decided not to START ~ that really wasn't much fun.........

Can you say Busted, on that dang phone again. Must be chattin with your BFF, Kelly again, and not really working. That would probably be a true statement! I think I really look kind of cheesy!

Lindsey was over and told me that when she grows up she wants to be a lumberjack! She looks the part! This gal is crazy and hasn't really fallen far from the tree. She fits in just like the rest of the family, always making you laugh. Doesn't she look tufffffff! I'm not really sure who wears the hat better! I really think I would have to say Pea does!

I thought I would let you know what old people do on New Years Eve! We went to my BFF Kelly's house and we ate, talked, ate, watched TV and ate some more! It was just Kelly, her husband John, Kevin and I. I took a picture of the food for 4! We decided we could stand around the island and just rotate. It was a good time, and I love being able to spend time with them.

I was hoping for a romantic night with my husband once we got home, but this is what I found when I tried to go to bed. Needless to say, the score was 1 for the animals, and 0 for the wife. Kevin would have said it was just part of my plan.
