PLANT them and they will make you SMILE!

Today I bought 8 Gerbra daisys. They were in the back at Lowes. I believe it was the hospital, because these plants needed some TLC. I bought them for 2.49 each. That is a far cry from the 9.95 each that they were originally marked. I haven't thought of a place for them yet, but I had to buy them.

Full view of my flower bed. I have been working on this for years. I think that it is looking good. Kevin helped me weed yesterday. Wait let me rephrase that, Kevin weeded the flower bed yesterday. I helped, for about 20 minutes and then gave up. He has more patience than I do.

My poppy plant has 30 pods that are just now opening. These are so pretty. I hate that at the time that they are going to open, it seems like we get big storms and the winds really beat these plants up.

If you look closely, you can see that a BEE is even enjoying the plant. I have to stalk all my plants and take their pictures.

This is a new Knock Out rose bush. It is blooming its head off. I wanted something bright that you could see from the road.

This is my garden Kitty. Her name is Ricochet and she was 10 on May 31st. She loves to hunt and if you look at her, you can see that she is zoned in on something in the yard.

I love my gazing ball. This is something else that makes me think of my Grandma Wolff. She always had one, and we called them "Old Lady Balls". Now I have one, so I must be thinking of a new name for them.

I planted different color geraniums in this set up and Kricket pulls one out about every 4 or 5 days. I'm going to beat her if she doesn't stop!
